Raddison Blu, Dusseldorf Media Haafen

I stayed here whilst in the city on a business trip.

The building itself is very modern, with the room offering floor to ceiling glass windows and that peculiar Raddison Blu style bathroom whereby the shower is separated from the rest of the room by nothing more than a glass wall.

The room itself was large, and had all amenities that you could wish for; a stocked mini bar, Nespresso machine, tea and coffee making facilities and free WiFi.

The hotel is located approximately 20 minutes from the Rhine and within spitting distance of the TV tower. Some excellent scenery out and about.

Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant with a good selection – wonderful smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. A taxi back to the airport the morning after my stay cost €17 – quite reasonable.

Would certainly consider this hotel for future stays in Dusseldorf – good for both business and pleasure
